Local-only tools

Some tools need filesystem access and only run in the local (stdio) deployment — project discovery, BOM generation from a schematic, gerber upload for quoting, and PCB identification from a photo.

Point the server at your projects

Set KICAD_SEARCH_PATHS so the server can find your projects, then ask the assistant to source a design end to end.

Extract the BOM from amplifier.kicad_sch and source every component.
