Parts MCP caches responses locally to keep repeat lookups fast and reduce API calls.
How caching works
Search and pricing results are cached on disk so repeated lookups return quickly. Control the location and lifetime with environment variables.
PARTS_CACHE_DIR— cache directory (default ~/.cache/parts-mcp)CACHE_EXPIRY_HOURS— cache TTL in hours (default 24)
