Credits terms
These terms explain how Source Parts credits work across the API, MCP, and CLI. They supplement our Terms of Service.
1. What credits are
Credits are prepaid units used for eligible Source Parts API, MCP, and CLI services. They are a usage measure, not a deposit account, security, currency, or ownership interest in Source Parts.
2. Issuance and expiry
Promotional credits are issued under the offer shown at signup and may expire as stated in that offer. Purchased credits expire 12 months after purchase unless a different period is displayed at checkout. We use the oldest eligible credits first.
3. Usage and pricing
The credit cost of a service is shown in the applicable documentation or product interface. We may change service pricing prospectively. A credit is consumed only when the applicable service request is successfully processed, except where the interface or documentation says otherwise.
4. Purchases and refunds
Credit purchases are processed by our payment provider. Unless required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, or resold. If a service error consumes credits incorrectly, contact support promptly so we can investigate and make an appropriate adjustment.
5. Fair use and account controls
You must use credits in accordance with the Source Parts Terms of Service and applicable API limits. We may suspend access, cancel promotional credits, or restrict an account that is abusive, fraudulent, automated beyond published limits, or in breach of our terms.
6. Changes and termination
We may discontinue a credit program or change its rules with reasonable notice. Credits have no value after expiry or account termination, except where applicable law requires otherwise. The governing terms are the Source Parts Terms of Service.
